In 2016 alone there were 904 workplace related fatalities. An alarming percentage of these fatalities took place on oilfields. In the United States, on the other hand, 1566 workers died due to accidents on oil rigs over a period of 10 years.

Instrumentation used in critical industrial processes need to provide accurate readings on the gauges for optimum results and safety. Gauges are used to measure pressure, temperature, and flow. These gauges show real time values and monitor fluctuations and are crucial for the day-to-day operation of the plant.
